Geographic location of Canada
The area of Canada is 10 million square kilometers and the population is 35 million people.

Since Iranian students are full-time students, they are allowed to work for twenty hours a week while studying and full time during university holidays.
To be able to work at a university or outside of it, students require Social Insurance Number (SIN). Work permission is required to be issued in the visa in order to get SIN, otherwise, students need to go to Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) to get the permission. The duration of the course needs to be at least eight months in order to obtain a work permit after graduation. The maximum length of work permit is three years after graduation. To enter the field of medicine, pharmacy and dentistry, a bachelor degree in a related field, such as, Science or Psychology is required. Students also required to seat the Medical College Admission Test (MCAT) and pass this test. A GPA of over 16 in bachelor degree and a strong resume which includes participating in voluntary activities and getting a referral from the previous professor are important factors for admission to medical school.
After four years of studying and one year of Internship, students will graduate as doctors.
Students must study a bachelor degree, such as Art or Science to be eligible to enter law school. The Law School Admission Test (LSAT), which is held three to four times a year, is compulsory for all students who want to enter law school.
After entering law school and studying four years, students will receive a bachelor degree in law. The graduate will need to work in a law institute for one year under the supervision of a lawyer. At this stage, they require to choose a specific field and after the completion of this one-year period, they need to do Bar Examination. After passing this exam, the graduate will become a member of the Bar Association and can work as a lawyer.
